Our Fun and Family Day was held on the 30th July, 2016 and the SSL Group of Companies would like to share some highlights of this very Special day with you all. See below album for highlights of the Day’s Activities, as well as we have posted an additional Album on our wall. Too many great and fun pics to not share them!
The inclement weather at the start of the day’s proceedings did little or nothing to damper the spirits of our Employees and their Families, who without a doubt, came to have a good time, and that they did! Just looking at the pictures, we are all smiles.
After weeks of planning, all were thrilled to see their Team’s hard work came to fruition. In true SSL Spirit, we were able to see the teamwork, commitment, dedication and TALENT of our very valuable Staff. The surprise element of each Company’s Theme added lots of suspense and excitement. We didn’t know what each other was doing, till the day of the event!
Below are the Winners of the Day's Competitions:-
- Hydraulic Supplies Limited (HSL) took home the Trophy for the highly coveted Inter-Company Curry Duck Competition,
- The impressive grouping of ArcRite and Flame Industries won the Best Presentation Award, with their explosive and incredibly humorous staging of “ Crime Scene Investigation (CSI)”.
- The People’s Choice award went to our very vocal and feisty parent Company, Southern Supplies Limited (SSL), for their portrayal of “Ninja Chefs”..
- Special award given to the SSL Construction Team for their very unique and outstanding presentation.
The adults had a grand time with games such as Musical Chairs, Beer Drinking and the oh so very popular Bikini Competition! However, the kids were by far the stars of the show! They thoroughly enjoyed all the treats on the day, as well as they had a phenomenal time with our very energetic and animated Clown.
This day was truly memorable and we can’t wait to see what next the Planning Committee (who did a truly remarkable and commendable job..) has in store for us!
