Southern Supplies Limited (SSL) Jouvert Celebration 2015- We work hard, We play hard!

Hoping you all had an Enjoyable and Safe Carnival!!

For as long as we can remember, SSL has been the go to spot to enjoy the Annual Jouvert Celebrations. Whether you are partaking or simply a spectator, SSL is the place to be! Fun, Fete and Vibes guaranteed!

SSL and Midtown Associations started this Endeavour in an effort to keep the activity in the SanFernando robust at this time and to encourage persons from all parts of the island to come and experience true southern hospatality and enjoy the Festivities, in a secure and comfortable environment. The small businesses and vendors in the area have undoubtedly benefited from the influx of persons gathering to have a good time. Persons are allowed to set up shop, at a minimal cost or free of charge, on and around SSL’s premises. The Bar is also affordable, at no cost, to Employees of SSL, who team up and benefit from this venture.

Can you imagine Jouvert without Mud and Paint???? SSL has provided these Monday Morning staples free to charge to the Public for many years. We continue to do all that we can to make the SSL Experience an unforgettable one.

In previous years, SSL was host to Stick Fighting Competitions and sponsored Free Entertainment for the enjoyment of persons during the Carnival Celebrations.  We were also able to procure the assistance of many of our Colleagues, such as Jokhan General Contractors, to assist in the provision of Spectator Stands and Judging Points.

This year, SSL was not designated a Judging Point, but that did not stop the multitude of Revelers from converging in the area. Without a doubt, this is “D SPOT!”.  We continue to evoke the further involvement of the San Fernando City Corporation in supporting this Event, as it is proven to be popular with revelers and year after year surpasses all our expectations. It is truly a BLAST!!

The Southern Supplies Group of Companies would like to thank the San Fernando City Corporation, the various sponsors, Jouvert bands, Masqueraders, Attendees and the Support Team at SSL for making SSL 2015 Jouvert a huge success. Huge commendation also the the TTPS and Fire Services for making the event safe, with no incidents being reported. Kudos to CEPEP also for the after-party clean up. No one would know a Grand Party was held hours before. Good Job to all!
